Dr Nina Khanna receives Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Award 2009
Dr Nina Khanna in the research group of Prof. Hans H. Hirsch, Transplantation Virology, has received the Swiss Society for Infectious Diseases Clinical Research Award 2009 for epidemiological and immunological studies on the Polyomavirus JC causing progressive multifocal leucencephalopathy in HIV- AIDS patients. The work endowed with CHF 20'000 was conducted together with Luigia Elzi, Manuel Battegay and the Swiss HIV cohort Study.
