Research Focus
We investigate biological processes that enforce genome stability at the level of DNA damage response and repair. Our objective is to provide a thorough understanding of the molecular mechanisms involved in the repair of DNA base damage and broken DNA backbones, and the consequences of their dysfunction for cancer development and therapy.
