Jan Niess’ research group shows that CD98hc regulates macrophage development in the gut.

Philipp Wuggenig and colleagues of the Gastroenterology group of Prof. Jan Niess at the DBM and Clarunis showed, in collaboration with national and international researchers, how the branched-chain amino acid transporter CD98hc regulates the development of colonic macrophages. The study was published in Communications Biology.
