Before January 15, 2026:

• Secure support by “science mentor” and “clinic mentor”, as applicable
• Submit completed Required Resources form to Christophe Kunz

Before January 31, 2026 (24:00 CET):

• Follow up closely with Christophe Kunz to evaluate or amend the required resources as needed
• A short online meeting may be scheduled for each candidate (between 15:00 and 17:00 CET on one of the days between January 19 and 23)
• Submit application to the Chairman of the JFC (Daniel Pinschewer), CC to DBM Coordinator New Building (Christophe Kunz)

Before February 10, 2026:

• Invitation of pre-selected candidates to the symposium

March 3, 2026:

• Junior Faculty Recruitment Symposium and Interviews

The DBM will not consider applications for ERC Starting Grants 2027 applications.

During the fall of 2026, the DBM will inform via this website whether and by which deadline applications for SNF Starting Grants 2027 will be considered.
